This weekend was a nice one. The calm before the storm. I'm trying to keep it all together because my 15 year old moves back to Ohio on Sunday. I believe he's really making a bad choice, but its really all about what he thinks he needs to make himself happy.
My brother called while David and I were napping and said he was coming over to take Steven to the movies and out to eat. I found this really funny because he was in San Francisco for the gay parade and forgot my birthday, again. When he got there though he told me his plan was that we would all go. I was excited because I wanted to see Transformers. Juan, my brothers partner, got our tickes on line, we found a DLP showing of the Transformers (digital) and let me tell you it was AWESOME!
After the movie we went to a steak house and I got a huge salad that I could barely eat. When it comes to eating dinner I can't eat much lately. We then headed to the grocery store, picked up some cherry 7 Up for the Vodka, eggs, and orange juice for the mamosa's in the morning. We sat up in the upstairs living room watching Lewis Black clips on You Tube. I love it when my brother comes to visit. They are great company.
They ended up staying over and didn't head home till around 5:30 Sunday evening. Then a couple of Stevens friends came to spend the night with him. David and I decided to make it an early night and headed to bed at about 10:00. We talked more about the events that had unfolded over the past week. I also thanked him for trying to be more open about his feelings with me. I told him that was something I really needed from him.
Now.. its Monday.. gag.. and I'm back at work.
