Anything I feel I would like to talk about. So readers be warned. Though usually it will most likely just be about my life or things that appeal to me.
This is day three of my job searching. What does one do when she's 31, dropped out of high school at 18, and just got her G.E.D. in the year 2000. I don't know what field I should be looking in. I mean hell in these days even if you have a college degree you may still find yourself at Mc Donalds.

Before I moved away from my home town about a year and a half ago I was doing Technical Support for and high volume call center for ATTBI. I actually enjoyed my job for the year that I was there. It was more than just technical help however, we also had to do customer service and some billing. All I have to say about that place however though is Office Space. Need I say more? I no longer want to work in the call center department. If I did, where I live would be the perfect place. If there is a call center and they haven't pulled their account overseas you can be sure it may be located here.

I have sent out more than ten resumes already. The only thing I have gotten in return is an automated e-mail stating they received my e-mail, the will review it, and possibly give me a call. If they don't call they will keep my resume on file for a year. YIPPEE!!

Today I went out and pounded the pavement. Going into places to see if they are hiring and getting applications. My fingers hurt from writing so much. It would be so much easier if they would just take resumes instead of the stupid applications. If they need to know certain information they could give you a sheet with a list of things they would like to know. That way you could look your resume over and go in and add the needed requirements if they weren't already there. I would much rather type than write.

I love it when you go into a store to see if they are hiring. The manager looks you straight in the face and tells you that you may come in and watch a video, then fill out the application, but they are not hiring. Though, they will make sure to keep your application on file for a year. There is that statement again "on file for a year". As if they go back in the vault of applications when they need to hire someone new. I can honestly say I have never seen that done before.

Well for now I am hoping to get a front desk position for a hotel. My brother called a friend and he's going to do all he can to get me into the hotel where his friend works. I can deal with that, there is room for me to grow if I chose to stay there long enough. I wouldn't mind having a reservationist position.

Anyone else out there know of any type of entry level jobs, besides finding a pimp?
